I reflect and seek to celebrate things in life such as fashion, therefore inspiring GLATURE.

My first blog post started off with a greeting to the world. With this I was able to reach out to people from almost every part of the world, sharing my daily fascinations with them.

​

GLATURE does not only focus on international fashion events but also events from South Africa’s local calendar, not only concentrating on fashion events but events that inspire people, such as Cape Town’s Gay Pride Parade, fashion supporting Green Peace organisations, Cape Town’s J&B Met festival and Good Friday.

As an aspiring prospective student wanting to lead a direction into the world of fashion, I started my blog combining fashion with writing. What has been a great inspiration for each blog post were events from around the world as well as from other writers. I am always fascinated about what people are thinking or writing and therefore my blog is a great way to get to know different bloggers through the power of words. Looking at my statistics, receiving over 440 hits on my blog within 2 months has been a great achievement for me as I feel that I have inspired more than 440 people from across the world. This proves that my words have the power to inspire in the capacity of the worldwide web, which is the best means of communication.

I write when I feel inspired or fascinated by something. Although I do not write every day, I feel that my best blog posts come when I feel enthused about something as it would have more meaning and in turn, a greater effect in inspiring people.
